It was great to work with the AIGA Portland board and NIKE to facilitate an amazing opportunity for Portland’s Design students.
Nike x AIGA Portland’s IMPRESSIONS OF SPORT: 20 Years of Nike Communication Design was a visual showcase that offered a glimpse into some of the stories behind Nike’s iconic works of design, as well as others rarely seen before.
In an effort to connect with the designers of the future, I helped Nike by reaching out to Oregon’s design students with opportunities for exclusive tours of the exhibition before its official opening. Students from Oregon State, PNCA, PSU, and George Fox, as well as many others participated. All in all, we gathered roughly 160 design students to visit the exhibition with only a few weeks of time to create and distribute promotional material.
