The Mondays are a ragtag team of improv comedians based out of Portland, OR who found each other through comedy classes in 2022 and have been performing together ever since. As shows began stacking up, they needed a way to promote their performances and build a recognizable brand.

Make 'em laugh

The Mondays are unstuffy, playful, and a bit weird. While they work hard on their craft, they also are committed to not taking things too seriously. In response to these qualities, their brand features a self-deprecating voice and visual textures crafted from deconstructed cartoons—both nods to the humor and references that often work their way into improv performances.

Laugh at yourself

The best improv is drawn from real life experiences. Writing an ad for the Mondays typically involves taking out-of-context comments and accidental insults made by friends and family members and adapting them to fit on the next ad. With so many folks out to prove they’re the best, the Mondays is in it for the laughs—even if the laughs are on them.

Meet Dr. Biscuits

The Mondays logo is inspired by a cat named Dr. Biscuits who is often a prominent part of the Mondays rehearsals. The maniacal fire and loving eye of the cat reflect the wide range of emotions on display in a typical Mondays performances.
